America First Field- Inter Miami powered by Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suárez, secured a 2–0 victory in its first-ever road match against Real Salt Lake. The result marked a second consecutive win for the Herons under head coach Guillermo Hoyos.
Hoyos adjusted both the lineup and formation for the matchup, deploying a 3-4-3 system with Noah Allen and Facundo Mura operating as wing-backs. The tactical shift paid off, helping Miami control key moments of the match.
The victory capped a successful West Coast swing, earning the Herons a valuable six points on the road.

Hoyos’ Herons returned to Miami with six valuable points, now set to face New England at home in search of their first win at NU Stadium.
Hoyos Tinkers
Guillermo Hoyos wasted little time making his mark on Inter Miami, tinkering with the lineup in his first match in charge against the Colorado Rapids. He started Facundo Mura at left back ahead of Noah Allen and Gonzalo Luján at right back over Ian Fray. The changes produced mixed results, but Miami still managed to secure a 3–2 victory.
Against Real Salt Lake, Hoyos took a more significant tactical step, switching to a 3-4-3 formation with Noah Allen and Facundo Mura operating as wing-backs. The adjustment proved effective, as Inter Miami delivered a composed 2–0 win.
Hoyos appears to be prioritizing defensive structure before building attacking sequences, a shift from Miami’s earlier approach. The result was the club’s first clean sheet of the season against Real Salt Lake, signaling a potential return to balance and stability on the pitch.
NE Revolution
New England comes into NU Stadium on a five-game unbeaten streak and currently sits in third place in the Eastern Conference just below Inter Miami. The Revs have a perfect 4-0 record at home but are a poor 1-3 on the road. Inter Miami is still looking for its first win at its new stadium, and NE might just be what the Herons need.
