Inter Miami Tidbits: Herons Smash Nashville 4-0, Face Cincy in Conference Semi Finals

Inter Miami CF smashed Nashville SC 4-0 in Game Three of their best-of-three MLS playoff series, led by Lionel Messi and Tadeo Allende, who each scored a brace. Messi put Miami on the scoreboard early with his patented left foot in the 10th minute.

The GOAT doubled Inter Miami’s lead just before halftime, when Mateo Silvetti laid the ball off perfectly for him to slot into the Nashville net.

Tadeo Allende joined in the fun after finishing a Jordi Alba cross into the box with his left foot.

Allende finished Nashville off with a brilliant lob over the goalkeeper and into the net, sealing the 4-0 scoreline. Miami sent the Coyotes home in resounding fashion and will face FC Cincinnati next in the Eastern Conference Semifinals on November 23 at 5 p.m. in Cincinnati.

Orange & Blue Next

The Herons will fly up to Ohio to face a tough FC Cincinnati squad on the road on November 23. In their last 13 meetings, the teams have split five wins each with three draws. This season, the “Orange & Blue” walloped Miami 3-0 in Cincinnati and earned a 0-0 draw at Chase Stadium. If the pattern holds, a Heron’s victory could be in order—but it will require another strong team effort. The Barça legends—Suárez, Busquets, and Alba—along with Rodrigo De Paul, will need to continue performing at a high level to ease the burden on Lionel Messi.

Messi Misses Barcelona

Lionel Messi took an impromptu trip to Camp Nou while in Spain training with the Argentine national team. It’s no secret that Barcelona is Messi’s true love—the place where his journey began and where he became a legend, the greatest of all time. In Miami, fans are savoring his final years as he helps build a winning culture led by his brilliance. He’ll be gone someday soon, but for now, all that matters is cherishing the time he’s here.

Special Night

Miami’s rout of Nashville capped off a special night. Jordi Alba made his 100th appearance for the Herons, while Lionel Messi recorded his 400th career assist. A dominant win and a pair of milestone achievements made the night even sweeter.
