CUSA announced its all-conference honors, and several FIU Men’s Soccer players made their mark. A total of three players made the list, ranging from the All-Freshman Team to American Second Team All-Conference.

Owen Travis

The graduate student from Locust Grove, Georgia, earned American Second Team All-Conference honors. Owen Travis made starts in all 15 of his matches, playing full-90-minute matches in 11 of those contests. He scored two goals on four shots on goal while tallying an assist. Travis led his team in playing time with 1,292 minutes and registered 15 shots.

Eduardo Mustre

Mustre earned American Second Team All-Conference recognition as well, demonstrating why he was selected to the 2025 American Preseason All-Conference Team. Despite starting in just 10 of 12 matches, he led the Panthers in scoring with six goals and 13 points, good enough for third place in Conference USA. Eduardo Mustre had a pair of two-goal games. The forward from Córdoba, Mexico, also led FIU with 26 shots, nine of which were on goal, in 743 minutes of action.

Johan Helan

Hailing from Saint-Denis, France, Helan earned himself All-Freshman Team honors. He started in 14 of his 16 contests, reaching the back of the net three times on 1,046 minutes of play. Johan Helan had 15 total shots, with eight of them being on goal. Earlier this season, he won Freshman of the Week honors after scoring in back-to-back contests.

The Road Ahead

The No. 4-seeded FIU Panthers will host the No. 5-seeded Missouri State this Friday at 7 PM. This match will be streamed on ESPN+ and will be hosted at Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium.
