Player Ratings For FIU

While the gaming community is gearing up for the release of EA Sports College Football 26 on July 10th, we’ve seen glimpses of what this game will look like. One thing we’ve seen is the player ratings for FIU Football, as many players have seen improvements to their OVR.

If you’re unfamiliar, every player is given an overall number from 0-99. That number is determined by a player’s attributes, which are also rated from 0-99. These include things like speed, strength, agility, and accuracy. The overall rating of a team is then based on an amalgamation of every player’s OVR.

For FIU, their overall in College Football 25 was a 77, with a 71 in offense and 76 in defense. In comparison, Liberty was an 84, Kennesaw State was a 71, and Alabama, Ohio State, and Oregon were all a 95 overall.

Another Year, Another Slew Of Ratings

It’s worth noting that two of the top-rated Panthers in College Football 25 are Eric Rivers (87) and Travion Barnes (85), both of whom are not on FIU’s roster this upcoming season. Rivers transferred to Georgia Tech, while Barnes moved to Baylor.

The highest-rated player at FIU is none other than cornerback Brian Blades II with an 85 OVR. His highest attributes include a 94 in Acceleration, 89 in Play Recognition, and 88 in Zone Coverage. This is the same OVR he had in College Football 25.

Next up is running back Kejon Owens with an 83 OVR with a 93 in Acceleration, 89 in Agility, and 85 in Juke Move. This is a solid upgrade for K5, who was stuck with a 79 OVR in CFB 25. For what it’s worth, his Agility was somehow higher in the previous game – 91.

Commanding the trenches, Julius Pierce is the highest-rated offensive lineman with an 82 OVR. The man he’ll be protecting, Keyone Jenkins, is a 79 OVR with an 85 in Overall Accuracy and 82 in Speed. He was a 77 in CFB 25, with most of his attributes seeing slight improvements.

Keyone’s highest-rated target is tight end Dallas Payne, with a 79 OVR. Back at UAB, he sported a 77 OVR and was the third-highest-rated pass catcher with the Blazers.

Going by position, Alex Perry leads all FIU wide receivers with a 75 OVR. Quaylen Hill leads FIU’s defensive tackles with a 76 OVR, while Johnny Chaney Jr is the highest-rated linebacker with a 76 OVR. Conveniently, both kickers – Alejandro Prado and Robert Czeremcha – have a 69 OVR.
