Offensive Boost: Jayden Boelter
From the University of the Cumberland, forward Jayden Boelter adds high-volume scoring opportunities for FIU’s attack. In 2023, she scored 20 goals and notched eight assists in her 21 match appearances.
The following year, Jayden was named NAIA National Player of the Year and First-Team All-American. Setting a program record 30 goals, 56 points, and 10 game-winning tallies in 19 matches, leading the NAIA in strikes.
Before her arrival with the Panthers, Boelter had 101 total goals, 233 points, and 28 game-winners under her belt. Being named to the MSC First Team All-Conference five straight years, dating back to 2020.
Fitting into FIU’s Roster
FIU’s blend of Orelesi’s defensive determination and Boelter’s offensive explosiveness continues the push toward an elite all-around squad. Orelesi setting the backline guarantees a tighter defensive unit, while Boelter’s gift for scoring augments the Panthers’ offensive approach.
Both players have a resume that shows their leadership and consistency on the field. Orelesi’s national awards and shutout records show her influence on defense. While Boelter’s scoring streaks and school records highlight her shot-making capability.
The Panthers’ roster now adds a veteran defender who reads the game effortlessly and an experienced forward with a proven history of finishing under pressure. Ola Orelesi and Jayden Boelter don’t just join FIU soccer, they elevate it.
