Amid the FIU Men’s Basketball roster change, they continue to look towards the JUCO level to find talent in unsuspecting places.
The most recent pickup for the team is Olajuwon Ibrahim, a forward from Southeastern Community College in Iowa.
In one year with the Blackhawks, Ibrahim recorded 11 points per game & eight rebounds per game while shooting 66.5% from the field.
With a height of 6’9, Ibrahim could prove a versatile threat underneath the rim and add some respectable size to a roster that was lacking that last season.
He joins fellow newcomers Asim Jones (Also from the JUCO level) and Ashton Williamson as some of the most recent pickups for this FIU Panthers squad.
