Right after adding a pitcher to their roster, the Panthers have gotten another commitment to bulk up their bullpen.
Juan “Choko” Villareal is a 6’7″ left-handed pitcher who finished his freshman year as a reliever, hailing from Odessa College in Texas.
In this past season with the Wranglers, Villareal clocked in 13 starts with seven wins and four losses, posting a 4.4 ERA with 75.1 innings pitched.
His skillset primarily consisted of fastballs, change-ups, and sliders. He also recorded 78 strikeouts and 28 walks.
