MIAMI, FL – The Miami Dolphins have partnered once again with Baptist Health for the return of the annual FINS Weekend this upcoming June. This event will feature both current and former players, coaches, cheerleaders, and a bunch of fans for a two-day celebration with proceeds going towards the Baptist Health Orthopedic Care’s Youth Athletic Outreach Program.

This will be the 24th edition of FINS Weekend, which used to be an annual tradition until 2020 when the program was forced to take a three-year hiatus. In any event, tickets are available for purchase and boats are available to be registered, as the majority of time will be spent on the water.

“We are excited to welcome back FINS Weekend, a longtime Dolphins tradition which is truly a celebration of our fans, our community and the organizations that are making a meaningful impact in South Florida,” said Miami Dolphins & Hard Rock Stadium Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Chris Clements.

“It’s a privilege for us to support the Baptist Health Foundation this year and we are looking forward to spending a weekend together, along with our coaches and players, in fellowship and support of a great cause.”

FINS Weekend will kick off with an exclusive Captain’s Reception at the newly finished Regatta in Coconut Grove on Friday, June 2nd. This event is invite-only but a ticket will be included with your boat entry.

The majority of action will take place the following day on Saturday, June 3rd. Beginning early with dockside breakfast at 6:30am at the Grove Harbor Marina on Bayshore Drive, boats will set sail and fishing lines will be dropped in the water at 8am. After seven hours of fishing, boats will head back to the harbor at 3pm and weigh-ins for the biggest fish caught will commence.

FINS Weekend will conclude with a Night Party back at the Regatta Grove at 6:30 pm. Players and coaches will join fans for live auctions, silent raffles, and all the other festivities available.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Baptist Health Orthopedic Care’s Youth Athletic Outreach Program. This program helps the Dolphins sponsor athletic trainers for youth and high school football games all over Miami-Dade and Broward County.

In addition, the program also provides electrocardiograms (EKGs), pre-participation screenings, and education in sports medicine for high school athletes, trainers, and coaches.

Fans can purchase or ticket or register their boats for FINS Weekend on finsweekend.com.
