MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed their second-round draft selection, offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea.
Savaiinaea was selected by Miami in the second round (37th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He was a three-year starter at Arizona (2022-24), where he appeared in 36 games with 35 starts. He earned freshman All-America honors in 2022 and received conference honorable mentions in 2022, 2023 and 2024. A native of Tafuna, American Samoa, Savaiinaea is set to become the fourth player from American Samoa to play for the Dolphins, joining Toniu Fonoti (2006), Reagan Maui’a (2007) and Isaako Aaitui (2013). He attended the same high school as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Saint Louis School in Honolulu, where he earned first-team all-state honors in 2021.
