The Miami HEAT announced that they have waived guard Terry Rozier III and signed two-way guard Jahmir Young to a Standard Contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rozier III spent three seasons with Miami averaging 12.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

Jahmir Young Signed
Young, who was converted to a two-way contract by the HEAT on October 18, started in all 25 regular season games he appeared in with the HEAT’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, and averaged a team-leading 26.0 points, a team-high 8.9 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.64 steals and 38.2 minutes while shooting 47.1 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from three-point range and 81.5 percent from the foul line. He was named to the All-NBA G League Second Team and was selected to the NBA Rising Stars event and the G League Next Up Game during NBA All-Star Weekend. Young earned G League Player of the Month for January and was named the G League Player of the Week once. He set the Skyforce franchise record for consecutive 20-point games with 18-straight from December 31 through March 13, including eight 30-point performances over that span. Additionally, Young has appeared in 13 games with the HEAT this season, totaling 22 points, seven assists, four rebounds and a steal.
