Miami, Florida – Nearly two weeks since making his MLB debut, Adrian Del Castillo performed a triumphant return to his hometown. Del Castillo made an explosive impression smashing the ball to deep center for the grand slam in his second at-bat of the evening giving his team an early 4-0 lead. The Arizona Diamondbacks bounced back after getting swept by the Tampa Bay Rays taking down the Miami Marlins 9-6. ADC finished the night going 2-for-4 with a run, six RBIs, and a stolen base. He is the first player to knock in six runs against the Marlins since Alec Bohm on April 10, 2023. Del Castillo is the third Diamondback to do so joining Chris Iannetta and Justin Upton. He’s also the third MLB catcher ever with 6+ RBI and a stolen base in a single game.
