SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Panthers have agreed to terms with forward Troy Brouwer on a one-year, one-way contract.
“Troy is a skilled veteran forward with championship experience,” said Tallon. “He adds depth to our forward group and his leadership will help our developing young core take the next step this season.”
Brouwer said he sees a lot of similarities between the 2010 Blackhawks and this year’s Panthers. But instead of older guys like John Madden coming him to help him, he’s now become the older guy. Excited to help Florida’s young stars.
