Infielder Leah Clark has signed with FIU Softball. She is joining the Panthers as a junior with prior college experience at the College of Central Florida. The Lake Butler, Florida, native is majoring in sports management.
Clutch Hitter with Collegiate Experience
Clark appeared in 54 games last season for COCF, posting 199 plate appearances and 177 at-bats. Overall, she held a slash line of a .390 batting average with a .437 on-base percentage and a .678 slugging percentage. She had 69 hits, which included 17 doubles, a pair of triples, and 10 home runs.
Leah Clark had 54 RBI and 52 runs scored, along with 30 stolen bases. On the field, she had 146 total chances with 56 putouts, 74 assists, and eight double plays. She posted a .890 fielding percentage. The infielder was named to the FCSAA First Team All-Conference and All-State honors, as well as the Second Team All-State selection.
In 2024, Clark played in 63 games, making 235 trips to the plate and 193 at-bats. She maintained a .420 average, and a .515 on-base percentage with an .819 slugging percentage. She totaled 81 hits, including 13 doubles, eight triples, and 16 home runs. The 20-year-old had 77 RBI and scored 85 runs while stealing 45 bases. Defensively, she had a .912 fielding percentage with 125 total chances, 56 putouts, and 58 assists. During the season, she was named FCSAA Player of the Week.

Clark graduated from Union County High School in 2023. She was an outstanding infielder, earning FACA Regional Player of the Year honors in 2021 and being selected to multiple All-State teams. She played softball on the club circuit with Gainesville Gold, participating at a high level of play throughout the Southeast.
Clark comes from an athletic family. Her father played college basketball at Santa Fe College while her mother played softball at the University of Florida.
