On Tuesday, following the departures of Arturo Dean, Petar Krivokapic, and Mohamed Sanogo, head coach Jeremy Ballard wasted no time going after his 2024-25 roster as reports say he is targeting South Carolina Upstate Spartans transfer Ahmir Langlais.
This past season Langlais averaged 8.8 points per game, 6.2 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and shot 55.1% from the field. He was a part of a Spartans team in the Big South Conference that went 10-20 and 5-11 in their conference.
Langlais’s team did make it up to the conference championship game but fell short.
Standing at 6’9″, 225 pounds, the Atlanta product will provide a size for the Panthers in the sense that Ballard can pair him up with Jonathan Aybar or Okechukwu Okeke.
