Today, the college football world got to find out the times and TV networks for each game played in 2025. That includes the FIU Panthers, which has revealed when their 12 games will take place this season, and where fans can watch.

Off the rip, the Panthers will get SIX nationally televised games across the Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, and ESPNU. Between the six, two of them are at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium. Four games are still TBA, whether they’ll be on ESPN+ or nationally televised on an ESPN platform.

The Spotlight’s On The 305

Unlike last season, FIU will kick off 2025 at home against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. It’s a Friday night showdown at 7pm. If you can’t make it out to Pitbull Stadium, it can be seen on ESPN+.

Just like 2024, the Panthers will take on a school from the Big Ten. The Penn State Nittany Lions are expected to be one of the better teams in FBS. Led by head coach James Franklin, they’re looking to run it back to the College Football Playoff.

This is also FIU’s first nationally televised game, getting a noon kickoff on September 6th. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network.

We then move to the 23rd edition of the Shula Bowl on September 13th at 6pm. This isn’t nationally televised, sadly, being reserved for ESPN+. This is despite intriguing storylines, including a pair of brand-new head coaches for both squads

The Owls have won the past seven matchups, with FIU’s last win in 2016. That includes a 38-20 loss in Boca Raton last year. FIU will look to switch things up in the 2025 season.

Welcoming The Newcomers

FIU’s first CUSA opponent will be before their final nonconference matchup. They’ll host the Delaware Blue Hens on September 20th at 6pm. Delaware is one of two new members of Conference USA who are being elevated from FCS, with the other being Missouri State.

This game is one of the four games that haven’t been assigned a specific ESPN platform. The others are against Middle Tennessee (November 8th at 3pm), Liberty (November 15th at 5pm), and the season finale against Sam Houston (November 29th at 1pm).

More likely than not, they’ll be on ESPN+ just like last season. However, if the matchup can determine something important, such as CUSA seeding, a bowl game appearance, or another storyline, they could be on an ESPN platform like ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU.

Speaking of the latter, FIU’s contests against Western Kentucky (October 14th at 8pm) and Kennesaw State (October 21st at 7pm) will be on ESPNU. The KSU matchup is at Pitbull Stadium. Typically, FIU’s Vice Nights have been played on nationally televised midweeks, which this game is, so keep an eye out for that.

Aside from the Big Ten Network and ESPN, CBS Sports Network will broadcast three other FIU games. The first is their final nonconference game against UConn on October 4th at 3:30pm. The other two are against Missouri State on October 29th at 8pm, and Senior Night at Pitbull Stadium against Jacksonville State on November 22nd at 3:30pm.
