Conference USA has announced the date and location of its annual football-based Media Day, also known as “Football Kickoff.” This year, it’ll take place on Tuesday, July 22nd at the PGA of America headquarters in Frisco, Texas. This will be the second straight year the event will be held in Frisco, which is north of Dallas.
As per usual, the media day will feature three representatives for each CUSA member. This includes the head coach, an offensive player, and a defensive player.
“We’re thrilled to return to the Home of PGA of America after the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s event,” said CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod. “The state-of-the-art facilities, professional atmosphere, and excellent hospitality made it a perfect setting to showcase our student-athletes and programs, and we look forward to building on that momentum this year.”
In addition to all 10 returning members, CUSA will also welcome two new members – Delaware (Formerly members of the Colonial Athletic Association) and Missouri State. (Formerly members of the Missouri Valley Conference)
