Miami Gardens, FL – The Miami Dolphins and Goya partnered to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner to over 200 members of the South Florida community at Hard Rock Stadium’s Paddock Club.

With a week to go before Thanksgiving, over 30 players for the Dolphins joined staff members and cheerleaders and hosted families from multiple local organizations. These include Football UNITES, the city of Miami Gardens, and local faith organizations. The players who helped included Terron Armstead, Bradley Chubb, Jevon Holland, Raheem Mostert, and Jaelan Phillips.

Time To Dig In!

The Dolphins served some staples of a typical Thanksgiving meal –  ham and turkey as the main courses, mac and cheese, yams, green beans, and cornbread from Troy’s Barbeque as sides, and desserts from Food Junkies. Both Troy’s Barbeque and Food Junkies are members of the Miami Dolphins Community Restaurant Program.

After the event, the players surprised families with canned food from Goya and a $100 Publix gift card to help them with their Thanksgiving celebrations.

“Bringing people together around the holidays has been a long-held tradition here at the Miami Dolphins, and we are proud to continue supporting those who may be experiencing food insecurity or financial strain in the South Florida community,” said Kim Miller, the Miami Dolphins Vice President of Community Affairs.

“We believe every family should have the opportunity to gather over a great meal, especially on Thanksgiving. Thanks to our partners at Goya, families had dinner alongside their favorite Dolphins players and were provided items to take home and celebrate Thanksgiving with their loved ones.”
