Miami Gardens, FL – The Miami Dolphins announced an open application period for the seventh annual Nat Moore Scholarship & Vocational Grant Endowment Program earlier this week.
This Endowment Fund began in 2018 and provides high school students in South Florida with the financial resources they need to pursue higher education. Since then, the program has awarded over 150 students $2 million in grants.
The Nat Moore Scholarship, named after the former wide receiver and current senior vice president of the Dolphins, will total $10,000 in awards, with $2,500 per year for the next four years.
Likewise, the Nat Moore Vocational Grant provides an award amount of $3,500.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is on February 28th, 2025 by midnight. You must be a high school senior graduating from Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, or Palm Beach County. You’ll also need a GPA of 2.5 (4.0 grade scale) or higher. You can use this link to apply.
Previous Winners
12 students were awarded the Nat Moore Scholarship Endowment Program earlier this year. They were selected based on community service, leadership, financial need, and academics. They were also able to attend a game at Hard Rock Stadium and received a pregame on-field experience before leaving for college:

- Jarvis Jones – Miami Central Senior High School, attending FIU.
- Dasani Little – South Dade High School, attending Morgan State University.
- Ammar Mansuri – Everglades High School, attending UF.
- Roger McKenzie – School for Advanced Studies – Wolfson Campus, attending UF.
- Patricia Perez – Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy, attending Duke.
- Samantha Schultz – Cardinal Gibbons High School, attending FSU.
- Ronald Smith III – M.A.S.T. @ Homestead, attending FIU.
