This past Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins hosted their annual Holiday Toy Event at Hard Rock Stadium, giving out presents as well as a wonderful time to hundreds of families.
The event was executed by the Football UNITES program, a branch of the Dolphins that specializes in supporting the South Florida community through partnerships with multiple groups and foundations, including the Dan Marino Foundation, Equality Florida, and United Way.

It was also sponsored by The Morgan Law Group, which has now collaborated with the Dolphins and this Winter event for the third year in a row. “We were so excited to bring joy and happiness to the children in our local South Florida community,” said Thomas J. Morgan Jr, a founder of the Morgan Law Group. “We hope this event made the holiday season a little brighter for these families!”
At the 200 level of Hard Rock Stadium, 23 different families totaling over 100 people gathered to play some holiday games, watch some movies and took photos with members of the Miami Dolphins. This includes their cheerleaders, Dolphins Alumni, and a few active players, including offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg, cornerback Trill Williams, and linebacker Jaelan Phillips.
This was one of many community-based activities Phillips has taken part in, which is why he’s been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes the work NFL players have done off the field.
These families also got to take photos with Santa Clause and enjoyed some meals prepared by Adam’s Catering, a partner of the Dolphins. At the end of the day, hundreds of gifts were handed out to children, which included new bicycles, outdoor gear, and a bunch of Dolphins merch.
“Along with our dedicated community partners, we understand the importance of being stewards of our community and hope this event provides some added holiday cheer,” said RaShauna Hamilton, the Senior Director of Community Relations and Youth Programs for the Dolphins.
Fans can watch Jaelan Phillips and the rest of the Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium this Saturday, December 17th at 8:15 PM.
