WAIVER WIRE PICKUPS FOR WEEK 10
QB – ALEX SMITH, REDSKINS
Despite still not putting up more than 20 fantasy points in a game this season, in Week 10 he faces an extremely favorable matchup against the Bucs. He’s a solid fill in if you have your QB on a bye or not in love with their matchup this week.

RB – MIKE DAVIS, SEAHAWKS
It’s hard to trust any Seattle RB as they have been shuffled around all season. RBBC approach or injuries have made it difficult on which one to roster on your team. Seattle does have a very favorable schedule against SF and KC in Week’s 15 & 16 so feel free to take a shot on one, especially Mike Davis.
RB – SPENCER WARE, CHIEFS
It’s around that time of the fantasy season where you have to start thinking of rostering backup RB’s as handcuffs. You may think it’s too early to do so but if you’re sitting pretty at first overall in your standings, it doesn’t hurt to think ahead. Ware is a great handcuff as he’s on an explosive offense and will be the bell-cow back in case of an injury to Kareem Hunt.

WR – JOHN ROSS, BENGALS
This is a speculative add. Reports came out this week that AJ Green has a scheduled appointment with Dr. Robert Anderson at some point this week. He suffered a toe injury and if were to miss any time, John Ross would be a must add.

TE – JEFF HEUERMAN, BRONCOS
If I’m being honest, I didn’t know much about who he was prior to this week. He went off for 10 catches, 83 yards and 1 TD. If you’re desperate for tight end help, may not be a bad add. Without DT, his opportunities can only go up. Be aware though, he does have a bye this week but he may be a sneaky add since others may pass upon him due to the bye.

TE – CHRIS HERNDON, JETS
He’s still under the radar to many fantasy owners but he has scored double-digit points in 3 out of the last 4 games. The rest of the Jets schedule is very favorable and he’s a tight end you could plug in week in and week out moving forward. Snag him up while you can.

D/ST – CHARGERS
Oddly enough, the Chargers defense is available in some leagues. They are a very serviceable defense to plug in for the next 3 weeks. Week 10 @ OAK, Week 11 at home vs. Broncos and Week 12 at home vs. Cardinals. If they were to get Joey Rosa back for any of these games, it would make them even better to plug in the next 3 weeks.
