Freshman Sensation At It Again

Ashton Williamson may as well have his section on these articles every game. Although he didn’t light it up with many points, he facilitated the ball well and was a big factor in the rebound battle. He ended the night with nine points, six rebounds and eight assists.

Rebounding An Issue All Night

In the first half alone, FIU was losing the rebound battle 24-12. In the second half, a big reason for keeping the game as close as they did was because they won the rebound battle, 20-18. Overall on the night, they lost it 42-32

Struggles From Beyond The Arc Continue

There’s no question that this FIU team has struggled to shoot the ball this season, but on Monday, they had their worst performance from beyond the arc, going 5-29 (17.2%).

What’s Next?

With the loss, FIU drops to 1-3 on the season and will head to Fort Myers to begin an in-season tournament. Their first opponent will be the Northeastern Huskies on Friday, November 22nd at 1pm.
