FIU Men’s Basketball continues to make moves this recruiting cycle by bringing in combo guard Kole Williams out of David Wendel Carter High School.
Standing at 6’4,” Williams adds some size to an FIU team that lost two bigs following the season. Williams also had offers out of Tarleton State and UT Arlington.
What stands out about Williams is the ability to guard 1-3 and is a score-first guard. His mold is one of Bruce Brown, who was a University of Miami product who has had a nice NBA career.
Potentially coming off the bench, Williams will provide a jolt of offense to an FIU team that likes to play a quick style of offense.
Along with a score-first mentality, the combo guard will help stretch the floor for the Panthers as he can shoot the ball well.
