MIAMI, FL – Earlier this week, FIU Athletics officially unveiled their complete list of gameday information for the upcoming football season. Fans, students, and alumni are advised to read everything available to ensure all six games at the FIU Football Stadium go as smoothly as possible.

One of the biggest highlights is the confirmation that Tamiami Park (The Cuban Memorial Area) will be available as a tailgating spot for all six home games this coming season.

General pricing for parking is $20 and can be purchased online or in person. The closest spots near the entrance to the stadium are reserved for Panther Club members and can go for $150 and above.

Gates will open for fans to park six hours before kickoff for all four Saturday games and at 3pm for the two games on Wednesday night.

“The game day experience for Panther Nation is very important to our university and to our athletics department,” Director of Athletics Scott Carr said. “Tailgating and the sense of community that it brings is a vital part of the college football experience, so we will continue to strive to make it as easy as possible for our fans to tailgate on campus and have fun.”

Aside from Tamiami Park, there are a few other spots on campus that people can park at, which include Lot 3, Lot 5, Gold Garage, Panther Garage, and PG3.

For students living on campus, it’s also been confirmed that tailgating will return to Tamiami Promenade, just outside of Tamiami Hall. There will be pre-game activities, food, and music. It’ll also play host to Panther Walk, in which the players and coaches will make their way to the stadium, along with the FIU Band and Spirit Team.

Students will also enter the stadium through Gates 6, 6A, and 7, which are the closest to Tamiami Hall. From there, students can take the first stairwell on the north concourse up to student seating in sections 101, 102, 135, and 136 on the north sideline.

If students want to purchase guest passes for friends and family, they can do so Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm at the University Credit Union Box Office at the stadium’s northwest corner.

The FIU Alumni Association is set to host two pregame parties this season, with the first being on September 2nd vs Maine. It’ll be located at the Biscayne Bay Lounge in the west end zone.

The second party will be during Homecoming on September 23rd vs Liberty at the Roar Lounge at Parkview Hall from 3:30 to 6:30pm. For the price of $20, food, drinks, games, and giveaways will be included.

Finally, FIU has confirmed that season tickets for Panthers football are starting at $50 for all six home games. Season tickets to the Stadium Club will cost $350 but also include complimentary food and parking.
