Miami Open Announces Theme Days For 2025 Tournament

Miami Open Theme Days

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The Miami Open has announced a series of “theme days,” which are set to take place during this year’s tennis tournament.

These themed days are designed to provide creative activities, special events, and fan engagement opportunities during the Miami Open, which will begin on March 16th and end on March 30th at Hard Rock Stadium’s tennis courts.

The Miami Open is one of nine ATP Masters 1000 Series events on the ATP calendar, a WTA 1000 event on the WTA calendar, and features the top men’s and women’s tennis players in the world duking it out on the courts.

Itaú Unibanco is the sponsor for this year’s event. It’s the largest bank in Latin America, available in 18 countries, and services over 70 million customers.

Something New Every Day

The following themed days take place from March 19th to the 29th.

Brazilian Heritage Day presented by Itaú (March 19th) – The first of the themed days is based around Brazil, which includes access to Brazilian coffee, live performances from Brazilian staples, including samba dancers, drummers, and a Brazilian DJ, along with a happy hour headlined by a special cocktail – Caipirinhas.

Hispanic Heritage Day presented by PNC Bank (March 20th) – While the first theme is centered around Brazil, Day #2 branches out to many Hispanic nations. Fans can look forward to mariachi and drummers for entertainment, then food options from Hispanic food partners on campus.

Women’s Empowerment Day presented by Gillette Venus (March 24th) – This Theme is focused on Women’s Empowerment and features a hand balance act, aerialist performance, and violinist. There are also pop-ups from female-owned businesses like a floral truck among others.

Out at the Open (March 25th) – March 25th is dedicated to LGBTQ+ pride, with plenty of vibrant performances and giveaways.

College Night (March 27th) – Students from all over the country, let alone the many colleges in Florida, can enjoy dynamic performances from college DJs, LED robots, and plenty of food and drink options.

Kids Day (March 29th) – The final theme day of the Miami Open is directed towards kids. Families can celebrate fun activities for the whole family like face painting, airbrush tattoos, giveaways, and more.
